Katherine Greer did not set out originally to become a midwife. She was working as a nurse in the intensive care unit when her son was born with a midwife. Through the process of pregnancy, her son’s birth, and the transition to life with a child, her respect and appreciation for a midwife’s role grew immensely. It was not long after she decided that the hospital was not where she wanted to be working. So, Katherine decided to carry her deep love for nurturing and supporting families through profound life transitions into a new career. As soon as she set out on the path to midwifery she knew this was where she was called to be. Katherine is a gentle midwife, who is passionate about protecting a woman’s space in labor and birth. Katherine enjoys reading, cooking, knitting, camping, hiking, and watching her son, Sasha, and daughter, Kiran, explore the world.
