Our birth
center is a safe, homelike place where you can give birth with
your loved ones in private and intimate surroundings with more
control and freedom to choose how you want to birth.

Our birth center
may be the place for you if you want to:
- control
your birth experience
- avoid
medical interventions such as IV's and episiotomies
- walk,
choose different positions, or use water during labor
- have the
option of waterbirth
- choose
alternative positions for birthing your baby
- spend
lots of time with your prenatal care giver, asking questions and receiving
support
- not be
separated from your baby
At our birth
center or in their home women receive loving care from highly
qualified women professionals in a warm and safe environment. |
We offer you more
time, choices, education, support and services. Our services include:
- a 30 minute
consultation with a midwife at no charge
- childbirth education
classes and prenatal exercises
- prenatal testing
and laboratory work (lab fees separate)
- prenatal care
every four weeks until the 32nd week, then every two weeks until 36
weeks when we will meet every week until delivery
- 24-hour on-call
services for labor and other emergency needs
- labor and
delivery care in one of our birthing suites or in your home
- newborn exam
at delivery
- six to 48 hour
postpartum care at the birthing center
- postpartum visits
and well baby checkups at one week, three weeks, and again at six
weeks after birth
- birth control
counseling and pap smear at six week postpartum
