CareOregon Coverage Coming Soon!

We have exciting news! Our contract with CareOregon has been provisionally accepted, and we are in the final phases of the contracting process!

This is an important step toward expanding access to midwifery and birth center care for families in our community.

What This Means

CareOregon is a coordinated care organization (CCO) that provides Oregon Health Plan (Medicaid) coverage to thousands of Oregonians. Once our contract is finalized, eligible CareOregon members will be able to access care at Andaluz with services covered under their plan.

Switching to CareOregon

If you are enrolled in Oregon Health Plan but currently have a different coordinated care organization (CCO), you may be able to change to CareOregon. In most cases, members can change their CCO:

  • Within the first 90 days of enrolling in Oregon Health Plan

  • If it has been less than 6 months between CCO changes

  • If there is a qualifying reason (such as needing access to a specific provider or service not available in their current CCO)

To request a change, you can contact the Oregon Health Plan client services team at 1-800-273-0557.

If your goal is to receive care at Andaluz once our contract is active, switching to CareOregon will be an important step.

Expected Timeline

We are currently in the final stages of contracting and are hopeful that our agreement with CareOregon will be fully active this summer. While timelines can shift, we will share updates as soon as we have confirmation that services are officially in-network.

Stay Updated

If you’re interested in using CareOregon for your care at Andaluz, we encourage you to join our CareOregon Waitlist. This is the best way to receive timely updates about contract status and how to begin care as soon as coverage becomes available.

Sign up for the waitlist by entering your email address in the box below.

We also welcome CareOregon members to schedule a tour of our birth center, which is a necessary first step to establish care at the birth center.

We’re proud to be one step closer to serving more families through CareOregon and supporting equitable access to out-of-hospital birth!
