2025 Year In Review

Do you love stats? We’ve got some data for you! 2025 was a steady year for our birth center, with some quieter times when we were able to take moments to appreciate the calm between the hustle and bustle!

We came in just shy of 100! So close!

99 babies were born at our birth center in Portland. 44 girls and 55 boys.

For clients who started labor at our birth center, there was a 95% vaginal birth rate.

Our transfer rate for clients during labor continues to be low, and in line with the birth center model standard of care.

For clients who started labor at the birth center, 85% delivered their babies here!

We are proud to be able to support clients seeking an out-of-hospital vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC)!

Some degree of perineal tearing is normal and is typically experienced by 8 out 10 people who give birth.

For our clients, 1/3 experience no tearing!

Over half of our clients chose to give birth in one of our spacious birth tubs— and virtually 100% used the tubs for pain relief during labor even if they chose to deliver in a different position.
